If you are a true gamer, then you must have a favourite video game character. Mine is Leon S. Kennedy, a Resident Evil character, because of his hot personality and amazing dialogue. I have played almost 50 games, but my obsession with Leon is exceptional. During Resident Evil 2, Leon was posted as a rookie police officer who arrived in Raccoon City on the first day of his job. Unfortunately, a zombie outbreak occurs on the same day. However, he has to join the top-secret anti-umbrella team, which is led by USSTRATCOM. Overall, his personality, body language, and humour make him unique and a strong Resident Evil character.
2. Geralt of Rivia
Geralt of Rivia is the protagonist of a popular action role-playing video game, The Witcher. Due to mutations, he possesses supernatural abilities. He loves sorceress Yennefer, the love of his life, and they become the adoptive parents of Ciri, the leading character of The Witcher 4. Furthermore, his character development, deadpan delivery, and humour make him unique.
3. Gordon Freeman
Gordon Freeman is one of the most inspiring video game characters. His silence, eccentricity, and egotistical personality make him different. He is the leading Half Life character, which is the popular first-person shooting video game series. However, he is a scientist at the Black Mesa Research Facility in the series whose failed experiment caused the birth of aliens and other enemies. Now, he is finding solutions to kill the aliens and save the world.

Cloud Strife debuted in the popular role-playing video game, Final Fantasy VII. He is globally famous for his hairstyle and massive Buster Sword. Besides Final Fantasy VII, he also played a role in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. He also worked in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, which is an animated movie.

Mario is a Japanese video game character of the Mario franchise. He is an Italian plumber who lives with his twin brother, Luigi, in the Mushroom Kingdom. In the game, their motive is to find Princess Peach. Moreover, his appearance includes a moustache, blue jumpsuit, big nose, and red hat. The unbelievable part is that the character, Mario, has worked in over 200 video games.

Lara Croft is the protagonist of a popular video game series, Tomb Raider. She made the Guinness World Record for being the most recognisable female video game character. Even so, she is one of my favourite video game female characters, too. She first appeared in the 1996 video game, Tomb Raider. Her physical attributes are extremely attractive. She is the most intelligent, strong, and fearless female character I’ve ever seen.

If you have played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you must be well aware of Link, the protagonist in the video game. Along with Princess Zelda and Ganon, Link is the third most important character. This gaming character’s appearance is a green tunic and hat, with a sword and shield. Also, he has blue eyes and has blonde hair.
8. Master Chief
Master Chief is a well-known gaming character who worked in the Halo video game series. It is a popular science fiction video game series in which Master Chief fights against aliens called the Covenant. He has appeared in over 15 video games. Besides the game, he also played an important role in novels, comics, and anime.

Sonic is an important video game character who worked in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a teenage blue dog who fights with a mad scientist, Doctor Eggman. He first appeared in the gaming world on June 23, 1991. Furthermore, he is among the world’s most popular video game characters because of his super speed. Kratos is the protagonist in the action-adventure game franchise, God of War. The first appearance of the character can be seen in God of War, which is a 2005 game. The character is violent, ruthless, and impulsive. Overall, he is the angriest video game character I have seen. Moreover, he has double-chained blades in his arms.

Princess Zelda is as important a character as Link in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Her role is to assist Link and send him on a mission to save Hyrule. Besides Link and Genon, Princess is the most important character; that’s why the title contains the name Zalda. She has blue eyes and blonde hair.

Solid Snake is the most important character in Metal Gear. In this game, Solid Snake’s real name is David, a former spy and special operations soldier. He is fluent in six languages and has an IQ of 180. Furthermore, David has brown hair and blue eyes. He is one of the best gaming characters I have played with.
